Spoiler alert: electric vehicles win “by far.”

The Colorado Sun does a great breakdown of the costs of driving an electric vehicle versus an internal combustion powered car. 

The analysis looked at: EV fuel cost vs. Gas, Cost per gallon equivalent, Costs to purchase new EV vs. new gas car and other related costs. 

Their conclusion: electric vehicles win by far. 

The only catch being that EV’s are in high demand and it may take a bit of shopping around to find one that works for you.
